In OSR Portal you can easily view user guides by clicking on the Help-button on the top right corner.
You get guidance in the context of the module you´re currently in. For example, if you click Help when you’re in Archive, the user guide will describe functionalities in Archive.
Below is a quick guide on how to get started with OSR Portal, as well as how the different modules work.
When you create a tenant, by default the system will define one of the users as an administrator user. Log in with the administrator user >> go to the Administration module >> Licenses >> check the different modules you want to have access to. Press F5 to refresh the page so that the modules appear in the menu bar on the left side.
Before you can import data you must first setup a connection to your ERP system. Go to Get Data >> Connections >> New >> Select you ERP-system. What is required, depends on the different ERP systems.
Please select the appropriate system and follow the instructions.
Once access to the system is set up, you can create jobs to transfer data from the ERP system to OSR Portal. Go to >> Get data >> Data import jobs >> New.
When a job is set up, choose how far back data will be retrieved, what data will be transferred, and whether the job will be run automatically or at a given time.
We recommend setting up the following jobs:
Go to Live Reporting and click on the “Get Reports” button on the right side. Here you can view all the report templates that are available to download. Click on the report templates that you want to download and click install.
In Get Data you can manage connections to your ERP system and import data.
You can set up automatic retrieval of data so that reports at any time contain updated information.
Before you can import your data to the ERP system, you need to create an access to the ERP system in Connections.
A data import job specifies what data you want to import into OSR Portal. You can also set a data import job to run on a specific schedule.
Status shows an overview of your Data import jobs. You get information about how far back in time a job has retrieved data, from which data has been transferred, as well as a status of the job.
In Administration, you can administrate licenses and users in your portal.
Here you can create and give access to the different modules – Live Reporting, Archive, Get Data, Report Designer and access to the ERP system.
In the module Live Reporting you can run and share reports.
When data is exported from the ERP system you can run reports from Live Reporting. Here you can find a set of standard report templates that are ready to use. You can create your own report packages, categories and edit report templates if you have access to the Report Designer module.
Archive is your own inbox containing executed reports.
You can find executed reports that you have archived and shared with other users, and reports that were shared with you.
Reports in Archive gives insight into data at the time the report was run.
