In OSR Portal you can view user guides by clicking Help in the top right corner.
You get guidance in the context of the module you are currently in. For example, if you click Help when you are in the Archive module, the user guide will describe functionalities in Archive.
Below is a quick guide on how to get started with OSR Portal, as well as an overview of the different modules.
The first time you log on to the OSR Portal, you will see a Get Data message.
This is a wizard that takes you through the necessary steps to create a connection to your ERP system and create data import jobs. See Get Data wizard for more information.
It is important to understand that in order for the OSR Portal to be able to create reports, you must have:
You can also manually set up a connection and create data import jobs, see Get Data for more information.
When you create a client, by default the system will define one of the users as an administrator user.
To start generating reports, you must download report templates.
Archive is your own inbox containing executed reports.
You can find executed reports that you have archived and shared with other users, and reports that were shared with you.
Reports in Archive gives insight into data at the time the report was run.
In the module Live Reporting you can run and share reports.
When data is exported from the ERP system, you can run reports from Live Reporting. Here you can find a set of standard report templates that are ready to use. You can create your own report packages, categories and edit report templates if you have access to the Report Designer module.
In Get Data you can manage connections to your ERP system and import data.
You can set up automatic retrieval of data so that reports at any time contain updated information.
Status shows an overview of your Data import jobs. You get information about how far back in time a job has retrieved data, from which data has been transferred, as well as a status of the job.
A data import job specifies what data you want to import into OSR Portal. You can also set a data import job to run on a specific schedule.
Before you can import your data to the ERP system, you need to create an access to the ERP system in Connections.
In Administration, you can administrate licenses and users in your portal.
Here you can create and give access to the different modules – Live Reporting, Archive, Get Data, Report Designer, Budgeting – and manage access to the ERP system for your users.
The first time you access the OneStop Reporting Portal, you get a Get Data message where you are prompted to import your data.
NOTE: If you want to change the period from which data is imported, use the Click to change link. You can also select which dimensions to import from this dialog box.
The import will start.
After import, you can find your data import jobs under Get Data > Data import jobs.
OSR Portal has automatically set up three import jobs:
These import jobs should cover most of your reporting needs.
For more information about data importing, see Get Data.
