Create a new connection
IMPORTANT: Make sure you are in the appropriate tenant before you create a connection. To change tenant;
- Click your user name button in the upper right corner, mouse over Tenant, and click the tenant. If you have more than one customer (top level), you must select the appropriate Customer from the list to see the underlying tenants.

- Click
Get Data.
- In the top right corner, click
New.
- Select from the list of available integrations (accounting system).
- In the Create new connection dialog box, enter:
- Server Name: Enter server name or the IP address of your SQL server (name\instance) where your accounting database is stored.
- Database: Enter the database for the accounting system. (The picture shows and example for Visma Business.)
- Authentication: Select authentication method, either SQL or Windows.
- Login: Leave empty if you want to use Windows authentication or enter SQL user for accessing the accounting databases. This requires minimum read access rights to all databases, including the system database. However, if you plan to do budgeting with write-back to the ERP system, you need to have both read and write rights to all accounting databases.*
- Password: Leave blank if you are using Windows authentication or enter the password for the SQL user.
- Allow other users to edit this connection: Turn on the switch if you want other users to be able to edit this connection.
5. Click Next.
Now, you get a list of available company databases.
6. Select company or companies from the list.
NOTE: You can use the Search for companies box to search for companies in your database.
7. Click Next.
8. In the Connection name field, enter a name for your connection.
9. Select the voucher provider (such as, Visma Document Center) you use or click None.
NOTE: If you select None, you will not set up the voucher view option and you can go directly to step 9.
NOTE: This step is not visible for all integrations.
